1. Introduction
ogprompt (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a simple prompt library app that lets users log in, browse prompts, copy them, and save them to their personal library.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information needed to provide the app’s core features (login + save/copy prompts).
Information you provide directly:
- Account / Login information: Email address and password (passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text). You may also sign in using Google or Apple Sign In — in that case we only receive your name and email address from those services.
- Saved prompts: When you save a prompt, we store the prompt text, the date/time you saved it, and link it to your account. These saved prompts are private to you and are not visible to other users.
Information collected automatically (limited):
- Basic device information (device type, operating system, app version) — used only for security, crash reporting, and ensuring the app works correctly.
- IP address and basic log data — used solely to prevent abuse and maintain security.
We do not collect:
- Payment information (no payments in the app)
- Precise location data
- Contacts or photos from your device
- Data for advertising or selling to third parties
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your account (login functionality)
- To let you save prompts to your personal library and access them across your devices
- To allow you to copy prompts

We do not use your saved prompts to train AI models or share them with anyone else.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or saved prompts.

Your saved prompts remain private to your account at all times.
5. Data Retention
- We keep your account information and saved prompts as long as your account is active.
- You can delete individual saved prompts at any time inside the app.
- You can permanently delete your entire account and all saved prompts by contacting us or using the delete account option in the app (if available).
- After deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except for minimal information we are legally required to keep (for example, to prevent fraud).
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted password storage
- Secure data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Access controls so only authorized systems can access your data
While we work hard to protect your information, no system is 100% secure. We will notify you in case of a data breach as required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we make important changes, we will notify you inside the app or by email. The “Last Updated” date at the top will always show the current version. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
